Niche Marketing or NO Marketing!
I’m scared for newcomers who enter affiliate marketing.
I’m scared to death for those that believe they can generate thousands within a few months. And I’m angry towards those slimy scum who market newcomers those crap ebooks promising them the world but never delivers.
So many newcomers get online, jump over to the nearest affiliate program marketplace (usually clickbank) and then just slap up a website or even those damn MINIMALLS!
My friend, if I have to be the last person on earth to tell you this then so be it -
STOP FOLLOWING THE GET RICH QUICK SCHEMES!
It’s incredible how many newcomers to affiliate marketing think that they can make a 6 figure income online by slapping up Amazon stores or some MiniMall.
Do you have any idea how many of those junk affiliate stores you’ll have to set up to make a decent return?
Do you have any idea how hard you are going to need to work to make money with that?
Did you know that on average those affiliate portal stores or minimalls make an average of $15 per month per portal? I have read dozens of forum threads online about the results on those and it’s just not a good way of making revenue.
So what is the key then?
Go niche Go Niche GO NICHE!
By building those huge affiliate portals or stores, you are just adding yourself into the "jack of all trades" category.
By not drilling down into a niche you are spreading yourself way to thin. You’ll never make good money as an affiliate marketer.
So what would I define as Niche marketing as an Affiliate?
In 3 simple steps:
1. Find ONE product you want to promote (ONE!!!!)
2. Build an authority site around the "problems" that your product can solve
3. Use web 2.0 and video media to market your product.
It’s as simple as that. Do that and you’ll make very good money as an affiliate marketer.
Go niche and you’ll crush your bank account.
You can tie your authority site with a NICHE affiliate store (but ONLY if that store stocks variations of your ONE product). I recommend only one software for creating those super niche stores and that is "Build A Niche Store".
Before you rush of to get a BANS store and think you are going to make serious money as an affiliate by just slapping up BANS stores, then you just spit at my advice. The only way you’ll ever make serious money as an affiliate marketer is by taking your niche and dominating it by appearing as the authority.
