Yahoo!’s Love Affair With Ezine Articles and Squidoo.
Last night I was up til late. I was looking to see where some of my webpages from my various websites where lying on the Yahoo Serps.
I discovered something pretty cool.
Yahoo has some sort of ridiculous love for Ezine Articles and Squidoo lenses
Let me prove it to you:
I spotted it when I did some keyword research in highly competitive niches and Ezinearticles and Squidoo kept popping up all over the place. I’m talking about HIGHLY competitive niches. Especially the last one on this list.
Have a look for yourself.

So, as you can see…there is really something going on between the 3 of them.
Hubpages isn’t considered that powerful with Yahoo.
Here’s my take on why Yahoo ranks these sites so well.
1. Age of the site
2. Incoming link
3. Keyword Density (higher than Google)
Age plays an important role here. The older the domain, the more respect Yahoo! has for it.
