EzineArticles Backlink Blues
Have you ever wondered why one earth you are not really "credited" in Google for the backlinks you get from submitting your articles to EzineArticles.com?
EzineArticles have a PageRank of 6.
EzineArticles has over 1.5 MILLION pages indexed according to Yahoo and almost 440000 pages according to Google.
You would think that by submitting your articles to EzineArticles that your website will start to rank quite high in the search engines for your chosen anchor text keyword right?
But unfortunetly it doesn’t work like that.
If you have 2000 links from Articles at EzineArticles, then Google and Yahoo dilutes the power of the backlinks due to it’s vast spread. So in essence - one backlink from Ezine is kinda just as powerful as a hundred.
That sucks.
I’m not saying that the backlinks from Ezinearticles are worthless. I’m just saying that believing that Ezine will bring you those quality backlinks is a far fetched dream.
The possible success from using EzineArticles for backlinks comes down to "article distribution".
If you are lucky, your articles will get picked up by other webmasters and THEN give you extra unique backlinks…even though those webmasters will get penalized for duplicate content.
But EzineArticles is still a fantastic place for traffic when doing article marketing.
When it comes to backlinks - it’s not that good.
It’s kinda obvious though…your getting backlinks from only one IP block.
